Dear colleagues and friends,
It is a great pleasure to host you for the GPB Omics & Bioinformatics Frontiers Symposium
2026 (GFS2026)! It will be held in Chongqing, China, September 20–22, 2026. GFS2026 is hosted by
Beijing Institute of Genomics, Chinese Academy of Sciences / China National Center for
Bioinformation (BIG, CAS / CNCB) and Chongqing Medical University, organized by the Editorial
Office of Genomics, Proteomics & Bioinformatics (GPB), Institute for Data-Driven
Tumor Immunology, Chongqing Medical University, Chongqing Institute of Intelligent Medicine, the
National Genomics Data Center (NGDC), BIG, CAS / CNCB, and NGDC Subcenter of Tumor Immunology
Data (Chongqing). This symposium aims to provide a field-associated open podium for in-depth
discussions on frontier discoveries, key issues, and challenges, and to foster future
collaborations among the attendees. The invited speakers are outstanding scholars who have
contributed significantly to the advancement of the research frontiers of omics and medical data
analytics. Junior scientists are also welcome for bringing the research progress into the
discussion freshly from the bench. Three themes will be covered at GFS2026: New
Paradigms in Tumor Immunology and Immunotherapy, Data-Driven Precision Medicine and Genetic
Disorders, and Frontiers in Omics Technologies and Computational Biology.
We sincerely hope that this symposium series becomes a premier platform
for in-depth scientific communication, knowledge sharing, and professional collaboration.
Welcome to Chongqing!
Sincerely yours,
Jun Yu
